The Alaska Dietetic Association (AKDA) is the state's largest association of nutrition professionals and Your Link to Nutrition and Health. The strength of AKDA is the 120 members who represent all aspects of nutrition services, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, research, education, private practice, public health, long-term care facilities, wellness programs, school food service, business and industry, all dedicated to improving the health of the citizens of Alaska. The mission of AKDA is to lead the future of dietetics in Alaska. This is accomplished through a major annual conference featuring nationally-known speakers, this web site and email communication among our members. To become a member of Alaska Dietetic Association (AKDA), you must first join the American Dietetic Association (ADA). You are then a member of your state association. ADA will send us confirmation of your membership. You must contact ADA with any change of address or name.
