Now Hiring: Diabetes Specialist
- Salary Range is $28.15 to $42.23/hr.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a Health related field required.
- Minimum of two years of related experience in the health care field and/or education experience with groups and individuals. Experience in the collection, analysis and reporting of data and outcomes preferred.
- Licensed healthcare professions, such as RN, must have current State of Alaska licensure. Certification as a Diabetes Educator through the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators is required and must be obtained within one (1) year of hire if not certified upon employment.
- Must have knowledge of general theories and practices of adult education. Must be creative, flexible and able to apply concepts of adult and youth education.
- Requires the practice of assessment, decision-making, planning, implementing and evaluating.
- Must have knowledge of complex disease processes, clinical standards and outcomes.
